Texas State's Research Enhancement Program is an internally funded grant competition intended to encourage and provide support for faculty research and other creative activities.

Eligibility: All full-time Texas State faculty members, tenured or tenure-track, and faculty of practice who hold the rank of assistant professor, associate professor or professor may apply as principal investigators (PIs) or co-investigators (CIs). Nontenure line senior lecturers may only apply as co-investigators with eligible PIs. Individuals are eligible to apply for a maximum of $8000; two or more eligible faculty, for a maximum of $16,000.
College Research Enhancement Committee (CREC, 2024-2025): Remember, your department/school College Research Enhancement Committee (CREC) representative can be a great resource for your REP proposal! Talk to them about your proposal or even send them a draft and ask for comments and suggestions. This will help them be better able to answer questions about your proposal when the committee meets.
